The Rock Wall

When my home was built in 2020, we excavated for the foundation, digging up lots of rocks. As the land slopes immediately in front of the house, the excavator built a large rock wall from these rocks. What a gift! This year, I have started on a rock garden, gradually creating little pockets of soil and putting in plants, including Korean feather reed grass, kniphofia (redhot popsicle), lithodra (Grace Ward),Amsonia 'Blue Ice' (Blue Star), saxifraga, heather, pink foxgloves, and blue lupines.
